We ship IGI certified lab grown diamonds from our cutting studio in Surat to customers all over Canada, from Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver to Calgary, Ottawa and Halifax. Each stone is laser inscribed with its report number, insured for its full value and delivered with duties and taxes already paid.
Here's how ordering from Canada works, and the things Canadian buyers tell us they worry about most.
- Delivery: loose diamonds within one week; custom pieces in 3 to 4 weeks.
- Duties and taxes: prepaid at checkout. Nothing to pay the courier when it arrives.
- Shipping: fully insured, tracked, signature on delivery.
- Returns: 14 days on loose stones, return shipping paid by us, order total refunded.
- Certificate: an IGI report with every stone, verifiable online.
No surprise fees at the door
If you've ever ordered jewellery from a US website, you may have met the courier with a bill: GST or HST, sometimes duty, plus a brokerage fee for clearing customs. It can add a noticeable amount to the price you thought you'd paid.
Our orders are sent with duties and taxes prepaid. They're calculated at checkout and included in your order total, so the courier delivers the parcel and asks only for a signature. If you return a stone within 14 days, the refund covers your order total, including those taxes. Full details are in our shipping policy and returns policy.

Why Canadians are switching to lab grown
Canada knows diamonds. The mines of the Northwest Territories produce some of the world's most carefully traced natural stones, and some buyers will always want one. Others are choosing lab grown because a lab grown diamond is the same material, with the same hardness and sparkle, at a fraction of the price for the same size and grades.
That price difference is what lets many couples move from a 1 carat to a 2 carat stone, or put the money towards a home. Our honest comparison, including resale value, is in lab grown vs natural diamonds.
Getting a loose diamond set in Canada
Buying the diamond loose and having a local jeweller set it is popular in Canada, and it works well with our stones:
- Send your jeweller the IGI report first. It lists the exact measurements they need to build or adjust the setting.
- When you hand over the stone, ask them to read the girdle inscription under a loupe and match it to the report.
- Canada uses US ring sizes (numbers like 6 or 6.5), so if we're making a custom ring, give us your size as usual.
Or let us make the whole piece. Our custom service sources the diamond, sends you a CAD render to approve and makes the ring to order.
What to look for
- Shape: rounds are timeless, ovals look bigger per carat, and emerald cuts suit minimal settings. Compare round, oval and emerald cut stones.
- Grades: G to H colour and VS clarity look clean to the eye for most people. See our 4Cs guide.
- Size: our carat guide shows how big each weight looks on the hand.
- Proof: every stone is IGI graded and inscribed. Read are lab grown diamonds real? for how to verify one.
