GST and import charges
Imported goods are subject to Australia's 10% GST, and higher-value items can attract duty and customs processing as well. Who pays, and when, depends on the seller. Some overseas sellers leave it to the courier to collect from you on delivery.

Having your diamond set in Australia
- Share the IGI report with your jeweller before the stone arrives so the setting can be made to its exact measurements.
- Check the inscription together under a loupe when you drop the stone off.
- Use Australian ring sizes. Australia uses letter sizes (such as M or N), like the UK, rather than US numbers. Tell us your letter size for any custom ring and we'll convert it.
