What moves the price
- Carat: the biggest factor; prices jump at 1, 2 and 3 ct thresholds.
- Color: D–F (colorless) costs more than G–H (near colorless).
- Clarity: VVS and IF cost more than VS, but VS1 and above is eye-clean.
- Cut and shape: Ideal-cut rounds cost the most; fancy shapes often cost less per carat.
- Certificate: an IGI report confirms every grade. Most of our stones have one.

Why are lab grown diamonds so much cheaper than mined?
They are grown in weeks rather than mined, and production has scaled fast, so prices have fallen sharply since 2020. We cut and sell from Surat with no middleman, which keeps them lower still.
Do lab grown diamonds hold their value?
No. Treat a lab grown diamond as something to wear, not an investment. Resale value is low. Our 2026 price guide explains why.
Medians use at least three priced stones per cell; “–” means too few stones to quote. Prices are listed prices in USD, October 2026, and change daily.
